Welcome to ACCS, Stockholm's (if you ask us) nicest group focused on experiencing east-asian culture. We love animation, but watch other media, cook food, and sing karaoke from time to time.
Join us on DiscordWe have frequent EVENTS. Join us!
ACCS is a place for all those interested in east asian culture. Most often this takes the form of anime, but live-action, stop-motion, food, music, and similar cultural forms have all been a part of earlier activities.
Our events happen approximately once every three weeks, with a mix of anime, food and karaoke. Most of the time 6 to 12 people with ages ranging from 16 to 28 come to any event.
As an organisation we pride ourselves in being open to all people and ideas. New and exciting activities are always of interest, so do not hesitate to reach out if there’s something you think would be interesting.
If you want to learn more, or talk to us before coming feel free to join our discord or email us (kontakt@accs.nu).
Sverok is an organisation helping young people organise activities related to (board, roleplaying, video) games, music, film, and other nerd activities. In addition to organisational help, there is also a yearly stipend for organisations under the Sverok umbrella, helping in the financing of activities.
ACCS has been a part of Sverok for many years, and is located in the Stockholm and Gotland region, in its main location in Kristineberg (Stockholm).
ACCS is not the only organisation focused on east-asian culture. Two other major groups, BAMK and Mangakai are also located in Stockholm and organise frequent activities, for instance.
The main part of the event will start at about 18:00, with either eating a shared dinner or watching some anime. After the dinner you can expect karaoke, and possible some other activities depending on how many people come! At midnight we can hopefully go out to see some fireworks from outside the venue!
It's the same deal as usual! Welcome to sing, cheer and clap along to all your favourite songs related to east asian pop culture (J-pop, J-rock, K-pop, anisong and more!)Do you just want to come to hang out? Then you're welcome to do just that! Tea, saft and snacks will be provided for you to enjoy as always!
Now that the first snow has fallen and December is drawing close, we thought it would be a great time to watch some jolly Christmas/winter related anime (and adjacent).
Come with your best anime (and adjacent) recommendations and we'll decide what to watch by popular vote. Snacks, saft, tea etc. will be there for your enjoyment as always.
If you already want more karaoke you might be glad to know that our next karaoke event is very soon! In fact, it's less than a week from now, on Saturday November 2nd! You are welcome to sing, cheer and vibe to all your favourite songs related to east asian pop culture (J-pop, J-rock, K-pop, anisong and more!)
It is finally time for the next live action watch party! The theme is "Boys & Girls". In this context it's two films directed by Shinobu Yaguchi that happen to have the words "Boys" and "Girls" in their titles. The films are Water Boys (2001) and Swing Girls (2004).
It is time for a karaoke event once again! Come prepared with your best songs related to east asian pop culture (J-pop, J-rock, K-pop, anisong etc.) and sing your heart out! As always, singing is totally optional! Come and enjoy the vibes, the snacks, the saft (also known as サフト) and of course the lovely, lovely tea.
On Saturday (14/9) we are once again hosting an anime-marathon! Princess Principal is a personal favorite of mine and it features awesome spy-girls doing awesome spy-things... won't say more than that, you'll have to come to find out.🕵️ Small disclaimer, this anime is quite violent despite it's cute art style! 🔫
